My father was a man you could place anywhere in the world and he always knew how to get to the right place. When I was young we had a camper with which we did some travelling in Europe, and no matter where we were it was like he was driving on the road back home. I have only partly inherited his sense of locality, so I have to compensate with some other tricks to get to the right place when I am travelling.
One trick I use pretty often if I am lost in a new and unknown place is to walk up to someone who looks like a local inhabitant and ask for the direction. It almost always work.
Asking questions and seeking answers is also an effective way to get forward in life. There are answers to all of the questions we have about life if we just ask and seek the answer.
Be Open To The Answers
One thing I am learning these days is that every book, every text and every human that comes in front of me has an answer to a question I have, either a conscious question or an unconscious question. I try to see which answer(s) this book, this text or this human bring to me. It is said that all and everyone that comes in our way has a message to us and that is actually true, but we have to be open to be able to see and receive the message. And we have to know which question we have asked to know what answer the message contains.
There are also other advantages with asking questions. Instead of paying big money for different kind of therapies we can use questions as a form of self therapy, and solve at least some of the problems and challenges we have. When we ask ourselves questions and seek the answers inside ourselves we get the answers that are most relevant to us.
Which questions that are the most relevant to you depends to a large degree on your situation in life, and the questions may change when your situation change. Because your situation in life will most likely change when you start asking yourself questions.
Let The Questions Show You The Direction
If you are uncertain of where you are heading in life you can ask questions which lead you in the right direction. During this journey you will most likely also face troublesome questions. It is very easy to skip past a troublesome question, because this kind of questions requires you to go deep and really investigate your inner world to get to the answer. The more troublesome a question feels the more important is it that you answer it.
To get forward in life we have to ask questions, and preferably relevant ones. The more questions we ask ourselves the better we get to know which questions to ask, and the better we become in finding the answers to them. Often one question lead to another question and new answers.
When we ask questions and seek answers we learn new things, and that is a requirement for us to develop and grow.
